The average rate was observed to be Rs. 2714 per quintal. For local wheat varieties, the maximum mandi price was Rs. 2755 per quintal, with a minimum of Rs. 2000 per quintal, and an average rate of Rs. 2755 per quintal. Examining Lokvan wheat, the highest mandi price recorded was Rs. 2675 per quintal, whereas the lowest stood at Rs. 2000 per quintal, with an average rate of Rs. 2425 per quintal.

Increase in Wheat Rates in Madhya Pradesh Mandis on 21st March

On March 21st, there was a notable surge in wheat prices at the Indore mandi in Madhya Pradesh. The arrival of both local and mill varieties of wheat totaled to 20965 tons in the mandi. For local wheat, the minimum price was Rs. 2064 per quintal, the maximum was Rs. 2608 per quintal, and the average stood at Rs. 2400 per quintal. the case of mill variety wheat, the minimum price was Rs. 1580 per quintal, the maximum soared to Rs. 3062 per quintal, with an average rate of Rs. 2400 per quintal.

Rajgarh district's mandis, there has been an unexpected increase in wheat prices. The maximum price for local wheat in Rajgarh exceeded Rs. 5000 per quintal. In Jeerapur mandi of Rajgarh district, the minimum price was Rs. 2080 per quintal, with a maximum of Rs. 5835 per quintal, and an average rate of Rs. 2400 per quintal. In Pachore mandi of the same district, the arrival was 828 tons, with a minimum price of Rs. 1674 per quintal, a maximum of Rs. 5600 per quintal, and an average rate of Rs. 2400 per quintal.

Ashoknagar mandi, the minimum price for premium quality wheat was Rs. 3005 per quintal, while the maximum reached Rs. 5201 per quintal. Additionally, 296 tons of wheat were recorded in arrivals.

Minimum Rates in Vidisha Mandi, Madhya Pradesh: Vidisha mandi, the minimum price for local wheat variety was Rs. 1100 per quintal, the maximum was Rs. 3840 per quintal, with an average rate of Rs. 2400 per quintal. Moreover, 652 tons of wheat arrived in the mandi.
