In the Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh, Chinnor rice has witnessed an increase in farmers' income due to the implementation of Geo-tags. Additionally, the production of rice has also increased. Chinnor rice has been included in the important scheme 'One District, One Product.' In Balaghat district, Lalbarra and Waraseoni have two Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) working to encourage Chinnor rice cultivation. These groups are operating under the names Lalbarra Chinnor Farmers Producer Company and Chinnor Valley Waraseoni.

According to a report from the ANI news agency, Ishupal Chauhan, the chairman of the Lalbarra company, mentioned that their company's office is located in Gram Garra. Initially, 515 farmer members were associated with it, out of which 400 farmers cultivated Chinnor rice in their fields. This year, the number of members increased to 700, and they have cultivated Chinnor rice in 1500 to 2000 acres.
Last year, the FPO's turnover was 75 lakhs INR. Farmers were advised not to use chemical fertilizers in rice production but to rely solely on vermi-compost organic fertilizers.

Seeing the high quality of Chinnor rice, its demand increased in cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Raipur, and others. The company also has licenses for exporting Chinnor rice to foreign countries. With the increased production of rice in the district, its export will be carried out to foreign countries. A stall for selling Chinnor rice with Geo-tags has been set up at the Balaghat railway station.
