Weather Update Today 13 March 2024, IMD Releases Weather Forecast for 13 To 17 March 2024

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued its weather forecast for the upcoming week, predicting possible thunderstorms and rainfall activities across various regions of India. Arunachal Pradesh, light to moderate rainfall and snowfall are likely over the next seven days. Similarly, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura forecasted for light rainfall from March 13th to March 15th, 2024. On March 13th, light rainfall in different parts of Punjab, north Haryana, Chandigarh, northwest Uttar Pradesh, and north Rajasthan.

Thunderstorms with lightning and hail are likely at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Lightning and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) are expected at some places over Punjab, north Haryana, and Chandigarh.

Himachal Pradesh Weather Update 14 March:

Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) are likely at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal. Lightning is expected at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
