According to the Central Consumer Department, from April 28 to July 28, onion prices have risen by 22 percent, tomato prices by 400 percent, and potato prices by 18 percent. This surge in prices is affecting the kitchens of common households. The main vendors in Azadpur market predict that these inflationary trends will persist until September-October.
