In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a farmer's fair is scheduled to be held from January 30th. This farmer's fair will last for 2 days. It is being organized at the headquarters of CSIR-CIMAP. Around 5000 farmers from across the country will participate in this fair starting from January 30th. Additionally, entrepreneurs and industrialists will also be present at this fair. This information was shared by Dr. Prabodh Kumar Trivedi, Director of CSIR-CIMAP, in a conversation with media personnel on Saturday. According to the information, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may attend this fair as the chief guest. Along with him, several VIPs, including Uttar Pradesh's Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, will also be present.

Dr. Prabodh Kumar Trivedi, Director of CSIR-CIMAP, has informed that the Farmer's Fair-2024, scheduled to be held on January 30th and 31st, will see participation from more than 5000 farmers from nearly 21 states of the country, 500 women entrepreneurs, representatives of fragrance companies, and 15 other research institutions, government, and non-governmental organizations.

Aroma Mission Mobile App will also be launched:

Like every year, the farmer's fair will feature scientific-industry-farmer dialogue, sale of advanced plant materials and publications, exhibition of advanced plant varieties, technologies, and products, as well as demonstration of developed farmer-centric technologies. This year, the Farmer's Fair will also witness the launch of the Aroma Mission mobile app for farmers and scientists to connect directly with buyers.

Farmers and entrepreneurs will come together:

The aim of this farmer's fair is to increase the income of farmers and promote startups. Farmers from Kerala, Nagaland, and Meghalaya will also participate. An app will also be launched during this period. Through this, farmers and entrepreneurs will be able to directly communicate with each other. This will bridge the gap between farmers and industries. The Farmer's Fair has been organized for a long time. The aim of organizing this fair is to increase farmers' income through new technology.

Information on new technology will be provided:

This year farmer's fair will be special. Through the farmer's fair, information will be provided about improved varieties of medicinal plants and new technologies used in agriculture. The aim is to make it easier for farmers to access improved varieties and technologies. Additionally, the institute will launch a book on advanced varieties of CIMAP and two products.
