The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has highlighted the likelihood of significant rainfall in eastern Rajasthan from July 16 to 20 and in western Rajasthan from July 16 to 18. However, most areas outside of these zones are experiencing scattered showers, offering minimal relief from the prevailing hot weather conditions.

Yesterday in Jaisalmer, despite light rainfall, temperatures soared to 42 degrees Celsius, marking it as the hottest location in the country. Today, cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, Barmer, Bharatpur, Itawa weather, Fatehnagar, and Rawatsar are expected to receive light to moderate rainfall.

Today Weather Updates in Primary Cities:

  • Jaipur: Anticipate Occasional light to moderate rainfall accompanied by possible lightning. Maximum temperatures are forecasted around 37 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures may drop to about 26 degrees Celsius.
  • Jaisalmer: Today, there is a chance of rainfall and lightning, with maximum temperatures possibly reaching up to 43 degrees Celsius. Minimum temperatures are anticipated to be around 30 degrees Celsius.
  • Bikaner: Cloudy skies prevail with a likelihood of rain, lightning, and strong winds. Maximum temperatures could peak at 40 degrees Celsius, and minimum temperatures are anticipated to be around 31 degrees Celsius.
  • Udaipur: Anticipate cloudy conditions with a chance of moderate rainfall. Maximum temperatures are projected to be approximately 35 degrees Celsius, and minimum temperatures near 25 degrees Celsius.
