In Rajasthan, the price of cumin has reached 50,000 rupees per quintal. The cumin prices have broken all records. This week, the maximum price reached 50,000 rupees per quintal. This is the first time in the history of the market that cumin has crossed the 50,000 rupees per quintal mark. Before this, on April 7th, the maximum price of cumin in the agricultural produce market was 41,000 rupees per quintal, which has now increased to 50,000 rupees. Cumin prices have seen a jump of 9,000 rupees. Meanwhile, cumin of the lowest quality has been sold for up to 36,000 rupees per quintal. This has made cumin farmers quite happy.

Reason for Rising Prices: Currently, there is an increased demand for cumin both domestically and internationally. This high demand in the market has led to an increase in the price of cumin. The continuous increase in cumin prices is a result of this higher demand. Additionally, cumin production has been lower this year. Sudden adverse weather conditions have also affected the quality of cumin.
