The Meteorological Department issued a hailstorm alert for Jabalpur, Shahdol, Seoni, Mandla, and Anuppur on Monday. Rainfall is expected in over 19 districts. Hail fell in Mandla, Katni, Anuppur, Shahdol, and Jabalpur on Sunday. Nighttime temperatures have risen by up to 4.3 degrees in 27 districts of the state over the past 24 hours, while daytime temperatures have decreased by up to three degrees in 16 districts.
The weather conditions are deteriorating further. Meteorologists indicate that a cyclonic circulation system and a trough line are passing near southern Gujarat, both of which are still active. Southeast winds are bringing rain to the state, potentially leading to thunderstorms and rainfall in Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Balaghat, Dindori, Umaria, Katni, and Singrauli on numerous occasions on Monday. Light drizzles are expected in Raisen, Betul, and Damoh. Some areas in the Sagar, Rewa, and Shahdol divisions may experience light rain on February 13.
Datia experienced the lowest nighttime temperature, recording 5.8 degrees Celsius. Gwalior recorded 7.6, Dhar 9.8, Guna 9.6, Rajgarh 9.2, Nowgong 9.2, Khajuraho 10, Ratlam 10.5, and Pachmarhi 13.8 degrees Celsius. Chhindwara recorded the highest temperature at 16.6 degrees. The nighttime temperature was 16.4 degrees in Seoni and Betul. Bhopal recorded 13.4, Indore 14.5, Jabalpur 15.0, and Ujjain 12.8 degrees Celsius.
