A Western Disturbance, a type of storm, is expected to affect the northwest parts of India from March 12. On March 11, rain and snowfall are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The rain is expected to ease off on March 14, moving towards eastern parts of central India. This means areas like Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, and other eastern regions may see light rainfall.
