In the latest report for January 16, 2024, potato mandi price today and arrivals in major mandis, showed mixed trends.
Kannauj mandi of Uttar Pradesh was leading in terms of arrivals with 2650 tons.. The market quoted a minimum price of ₹640 per quintal, a maximum of ₹720 per quintal and an average price of ₹680 per quintal.
On the other hand, Maharashtra Solapur mandi saw the highest potato prices, reaching a maximum of ₹2000 per quintal, minimum of ₹750 per quintal and an average of ₹1600 per quintal. The total arrival in Solapur was 82 tons.
The lowest minimum price in Pipli Mandi in Kurukshetra district of Haryana was ₹140 per quintal, while the maximum price was ₹654 per quintal and the average price was ₹325 per quintal. A substantial arrival of 1681 tons was recorded in the market.
Delhi's Azadpur mandi recorded arrival of 1255 tons., with minimum price of ₹200 per quintal, maximum of ₹1600 per quintal and average price of ₹762 per quintal.
Potato Mandi Price Today in Madhya Pradesh (Indore Mandi): 723 tons. of potatoes arrived in Indore Mandi of Madhya Pradesh, due to which the minimum price was ₹ 308 per quintal, maximum ₹ 1219 per quintal and average ₹ 910 per quintal.
Potato Mandi Price Today in Rajasthan (Bhadwasiya Mandi): Jodhpur Fruits and Vegetables (Bhadwasiya) Mandi in Rajasthan had received arrival of 195 tons. of potatoes, in which the minimum price was fixed at ₹400 per quintal, maximum at ₹800 per quintal and average price at ₹600 per quintal. These fluctuations in prices and arrivals in key mandis highlight the market's sensitivity to regional dynamics and demand-supply fluctuations. Stakeholders are closely monitoring these trends to make strategic decisions in the ever-evolving potato market.
