The Central Government is implementing various schemes aimed at fostering prosperity among farmers, benefiting a significant number of them. Among these schemes, the most notable one is the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this initiative, farmers receive financial assistance of 6,000 rupees annually, distributed in installments. It is compulsory for eligible farmers to complete their e-KYC for this scheme. The 16th installment of this scheme is pending. During this period, the government will conduct camps in villages nationwide to facilitate e-KYC for farmers. Failure to complete e-KYC will result in farmers not receiving their installments.

Farmers can only complete e-KYC in villages:

The government is consistently encouraging farmers to fulfill their e-KYC requirements. However, despite these efforts, many farmers fail to meet this essential criterion. Consequently, their names are removed from the list of beneficiaries, and they do not receive the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi amount in their accounts. To ensure the completion of e-KYC, the Ministry of Agriculture has organized a special 10-day program during which e-KYC camps will be established in villages. Farmers can take advantage of this initiative. The Ministry of Agriculture has communicated with states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka, Bihar, and 12 others, informing them that camps will be held from February 12th to February 21st in these states.

During these dates, camps will be established:

A letter issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare provided information about setting up camps within 10 days. It included the names of 19 states, such as Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka, Bihar, and others. These camps will be operational from February 12th to February 21st.

The scheme is highly advantageous:

The Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, initiated by the Central Government, aims to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, farmers receive an annual installment of six thousand rupees. Up to now, 15 installments have been disbursed. Following the 15th installment, numerous farmers complained of not receiving funds in their accounts. In response, the government clarified that farmers who did not complete e-KYC and land record verification were excluded from the list, resulting in non-crediting of funds. Therefore, completing e-KYC is obligatory.
