Considering the struggle to save crops due to a lack of rainfall, a young man from the Chalisgaon district of Maharashtra has conducted important research on this topic.
This young man's research reveals that crops can survive for up to two months without water. Both of his research projects have been granted patents, and this innovation will be a lifesaver for farmers facing water scarcity during droughts. Prakash Sunil Pawar from the Brahman Shevgaon village in Chalisgaon taluka initiated this groundbreaking research. Prakash Pawar comes from a humble farming family. His father is a small-scale farmer, and his mother works as an Asha worker in the village. While keeping his parents' hard work in mind, he embarked on revolutionary research with the help of friends and locally available resources.
This research has provided a solution to the problems caused by irregular rainfall, potentially allowing farming without waiting for rain. This technology is entirely organic and can be very beneficial for farmers' health. All the research trials have been conducted at temperatures ranging from 40 to 45 degrees Celsius, and all have been successful. This discovery will completely prevent losses due to untimely rainfall and put a stop to farmer suicides. Additionally, there will be substantial benefits from planting trees and living trees. Prakash Pawar believes that it will be possible to farm with minimal water usage now. Prakash Pawar's research shows that even if crops do not receive water for about two months after planting, they can still survive. This research will enable farming even with delayed water supply. Both of Prakash Pawar's research projects have been patented, and he has secured intellectual property rights for 20 years.
