The weather department has warned of severe heatwave conditions persisting in many areas while heavy rainfall alerts have been issued for southeastern India. Amidst this, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a forecast for June 4, indicating the onset of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, where rain clouds are expected to shower in many districts. It's noteworthy that this week will mark the beginning of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, offering relief from the scorching heat.

According to IMD, most parts of Madhya Pradesh are likely to witness light rainfall accompanied by occasional lightning today, notably in cities such as Shivpuri, Chhindwara, Seoni, Bhopal, Indore weather, Ujjain, Guna, Satna, Balaghat, Khandwa, and Khajuraho.

Weather forecast for the main cities of Madhya Pradesh on June 4:

  1. Bhopal: The day in Bhopal is expected to start with heat, although dark clouds may appear temporarily. The maximum temperature here is expected to reach around 42 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 29 degrees Celsius.
  2. Indore: There's a possibility of relief from the heat and temperature in Indore today, with forecasts suggesting rain and winds. The maximum temperature could be around 40 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius.
  3. Jabalpur: Partially cloudy skies and chances of rain are anticipated in Jabalpur today. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 41 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 29 degrees Celsius.
  4. Chhindwara: Light rain with chances of lightning is expected in Chhindwara today. The maximum temperature may reach around 38 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 25 degrees Celsius.
  5. Gwalior: Gwalior is likely to experience severe heat today, with the maximum temperature reaching 44 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 31 degrees Celsius.
