Previously set at 125 units, farmers will now receive up to 200 units of free electricity. This step is aimed at supporting farmers in their irrigation needs. Electricity Bill Relief in Haryana

In Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Saini has abolished the monthly minimum charge on electricity bills. Under the new scheme, households consuming between 10 and 100 units per month will pay a flat rate of ₹200. Chief Minister Saini launched this initiative during the inauguration of the Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme in Ambala. The scheme ensures that consumers only pay for the electricity they use, significantly reducing monthly bills.
