A trough/cyclonic circulation over the central parts of the country may bring light rain activity over many areas, due to which light rain conditions may occur over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh between 10 and 14 February. Central Maharashtra may receive rain on 10 and 11 February, while Marathwada may receive rain between 9 and 11 February. Apart from this, this activity can be seen in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal from 12 to 14 February.
There is a possibility of rain with lightning and thunder in Madhya Pradesh Weather Forecast, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Chhattisgarh on February 2024. Apart from this, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Kerala may receive light rain on specific dates in February.
The Meteorological Department estimates that there will be light rain and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on February 09. Additionally, light drizzle may occur over Odisha on February 11 and 12, 2024.
Strong surface winds of 25-35 kmph are likely over the plains of northwest and eastern India during the next 24 hours. Regarding minimum temperature forecast and cold wave warning, no significant change is expected over many parts of eastern India in the next two days. However, there may be an increase of 2- 3 °C thereafter with no significant change. Yesterday, cold wave conditions were felt in different areas of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
