Diwali is going to be a joyous one for the sugarcane farmers of Uttar Pradesh. Following the stern directive of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a private group has cleared the pending payments of millions of farmers for sugarcane.
According to the information, a private group has cleared the pending sugarcane payments of 1371 crore rupees within the last 24 hours. It's worth mentioning that CM Yogi Adityanath had issued directives to take strict action against those who didn't make the payment for sugarcane. He emphasized that clearing the pending sugarcane payments is the top priority of the government. The impact of CM Yogi's firm stance is now evident.
The private group has cleared the outstanding payments of 5.25 lakh farmers, providing them significant relief just before Diwali. This payment has been made to the farmers in various districts of the state, including Lakhimpur, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Shamli, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, and Bijnor. CM Yogi has also given instructions to expedite the remaining pending payments.
