March 8, 2024: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported a 2 to 3-degree increase in temperature in several cities of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Agra, Aligarh, and Jhansi. On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri today, March 8, Friday, Uttar Pradesh is expected to experience dry weather. The capital city, Lucknow, will have clear skies, with a slight rise in temperatures anticipated. According to IMD, temperature in Lucknow on March 8, the minimum 12 degrees Celsius, with the maximum reaching 28 degrees Celsius. Cities like Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Bareilly, Agra, and Moradabad will witness clear skies today, but as per the weather department, strong winds are expected in these cities from March 9 onwards.

Delhi Weather Today on 08 March 2024:

Delhi weather today will experience clear skies today with no chance of rain. The minimum temperature is expected to be above 10 degrees Celsius, while the maximum could reach 27 degrees Celsius. As per weather forecasts, March 7 was the coldest day of March in Delhi so far. Although northern India has experienced a sudden return of cold weather, resulting in fluctuating temperatures. According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) today, New Delhi recorded an AQI of 232. Similarly, neighbouring cities reported the following AQI levels: Ghaziabad - 107, Faridabad - 150, Gurugram - 160, Noida - 129, Sonipat - 162, Panipat - 103, Rohtak - 118, and Meerut - 79.
