Rain: According to the announcement from the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of normal and above-normal rainfall during July 2023 across the entire country. The long-term average precipitation is expected to be between 94% and 106%. Based on the local distribution, it is observed that there is a likelihood of above-normal rainfall in many areas of central India and the surrounding southern peninsula and eastern India regions, as well as some parts of northeast and northwest India.
