Severe Heat Wave Warning in Several Regions: A severe heat wave is expected to continue in parts of Bihar. Heat wave conditions are also likely to prevail in some areas of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh Weather, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, and Jharkhand.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya. Heavy rainfall is also expected in some areas of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, and Kerala & Mahe.
Thunderstorms with gusty winds reaching speeds of 50-60 kmph and lightning are expected in some parts of West Bengal. In Chhattisgarh, thunderstorms with gusty winds of 40-50 kmph and lightning are likely. Additionally, thunderstorms with gusty winds of 30-40 kmph and lightning are expected in parts of Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, East Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Kerala & Mahe.
Warm and Humid Weather Conditions: Warm night conditions are expected in some parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha. Meanwhile, hot and humid weather is likely to prevail in areas near Goa.
Marine Warning for Fishermen: A marine warning has been issued for fishermen in the regions of Lakshadweep, Maldives area, Comorin area, along the Kerala coast, and southern parts of the southwest Bay of Bengal. Wind speeds in these areas are expected to reach 35-45 kmph. Fishermen are advised to avoid these areas today.
