Weather in Northwest India:

According to the IMD, the Western Himalayan region is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall throughout the week. Meanwhile, the plains of northwest India can expect scattered to moderate rainfall.
From August 12th to 18th, heavy rainfall is anticipated in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad may experience heavy rains between August 14th and 17th. West Rajasthan is expected to receive heavy showers from August 12th to 14th, and Haryana-Chandigarh from August 12th to 15th.
Very heavy rainfall is also likely in East Rajasthan on August 12th.

Rainy Conditions to Persist in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra:

The weather department forecasts light to moderate rainfall in many areas of West and Central India, including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra, on most days this week.

Northeast India Weather:

The northeastern region is expected to see widespread light to moderate rainfall throughout the week.
Heavy rainfall is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, and Bihar from August 12th to 18th. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim may experience heavy rains on August 14th and 16th, while Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and West Bengal are expected to see similar conditions from August 14th to 16th. Jharkhand and Odisha could also receive heavy showers between August 13th and 15th.
Very heavy rainfall is anticipated in isolated parts of Assam and Meghalaya on August 12th, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on August 14th, and Bihar on August 12th.

Southern Peninsular India’s Weather Forecast:

The southern region is expected to experience light to moderate rainfall in scattered areas throughout the week.
Heavy rainfall is expected in Kerala and Mahe, Tamil Nadu, and North Interior Karnataka between August 12th and 15th, with Rayalaseema likely to experience heavy showers on August 14th and 15th.
Very heavy rainfall is also expected in some parts of Tamil Nadu on August 14th and 15th, and in Kerala and Mahe on August 13th and 14th.
