May 22 to 26 Weather Update:

  1. On May 22, heavy rainfall is expected in Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, and Lakshadweep, while thunderstorms with lightning are likely in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Kerala. Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh weather, may continue to experience severe heatwaves, with some parts of Assam, Odisha, and Uttar Pradesh expecting hot and humid weather.
  2. Moving to May 23, heavy rainfall is forecasted for Kerala, Maharashtra, and other southern regions, with thunderstorms likely in Jharkhand, Bihar, and Karnataka. Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana will continue to face intense heat, while Assam braces for warm weather.
  3. May 24 will see heavy rainfall persisting in Kerala, Maharashtra, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, accompanied by thunderstorms. Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana will remain under the grip of severe heatwaves.
  4. On May 25, heavy rainfall is anticipated in northeastern states, while Kerala, Maharashtra, and West Bengal may experience thunderstorms. Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana are expected to face scorching heat, with some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan anticipating warm nights.
  5. As we move to May 26, heavy rainfall may persist in northeastern states, while Kerala and West Bengal may witness lightning strikes. Coastal areas are advised to stay away due to strong winds and hazardous sea conditions.
