The heavy rainfall has also affected nearby areas, particularly Gurugram, Pragati Maidan, and Sarita Vihar Metro Station, which experienced significant waterlogging. Streets in these areas resembled rivers due to the flooding. The bad weather also caused disruptions in air travel, with eight flights to Jaipur and two flights to Lucknow being diverted yesterday.
On August 1, Delhi is expected to see light to moderate rainfall. According to the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms and rain are likely in Delhi and several nearby areas, with some places experiencing heavy rainfall. The minimum temperature in Delhi today is expected to be 24°C, while the maximum temperature will be around 33°C. Yesterday's heavy rains have led to a noticeable drop of approximately 3 to 4 degrees in Delhi's temperature.
