Continuous rainfall in several hilly areas has led to landslides, and according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy rains are expected to continue in several states today as well. The IMD predicts that on September 19, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning is likely in regions of Himachal Pradesh, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh weather, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu.

Hot and Humid Conditions in South India:

The national capital, light rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast for September 19. On September 18, Delhi and surrounding areas experienced continuous rainfall throughout the day and night. The persistent downpour has resulted in a noticeable drop in temperatures, with many people reducing the use of air conditioners and fans in their homes. Although the intensity of rainfall has decreased this morning, waterlogging has been reported in several parts of the city due to the heavy rains.
