Uttarakhand Rain Alert: Heavy rainfall in Bihar and Uttarakhand, Two-day alert issued for Madhya Pradesh

The monsoon has begun to make its presence felt with great intensity across several states in India. In many areas, heavy rain has caused knee-deep water in homes. In Bihar, roads have washed away in some places, and bridges are collapsing. Currently, the monsoon is wreaking havoc in Bihar, Gujarat, and Himachal Pradesh. Continuous rainfall in most cities of Gujarat and Bihar has already started causing problems for the public right from the onset of the monsoon.

Heavy Rainfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana from July 4th to 6th:

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in Uttarakhand weather, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana from July 4th to 6th. 

Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh on July 4th and 5th, while Bihar is anticipated to receive heavy rain from July 6th to 8th.

Significant rainfall was recorded yesterday in several places, including East Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Bihar. Here are some key rainfall figures (in cm):

1. Uttarakhand: Pantnagar - 2 cm
2. Haryana: Narnaul - 4 cm
3. Delhi: Ayanagar - 4 cm
4. Uttar Pradesh: Hardoi - 9 cm, Varanasi - 7 cm, Gorakhpur - 4 cm, Moradabad - 3 cm, Lakhimpur, Kheri - 3 cm
5. East Madhya Pradesh: Narsinghpur - 2 cm
6. Bihar: Bhagalpur - 4 cm, Purnea - 2 cm
7. Odisha: Keonjhargarh - 3 cm, Chandbali - 2 cm
8. Gangetic West Bengal: Asansol - 5 cm
