The state of Gujarat is facing severe challenges as relentless rains have caused widespread devastation from Saurashtra to Kutch. Areas such as Vadodara, Rajkot, Jamnagar, and Kheda are severely affected, with residents grappling with the aftermath of heavy rainfall. In Vadodara's Sayajigunj area, water levels have risen to 8 feet, leaving homes without electricity or water for the past two days. In response, the army has been actively providing assistance to the affected populations. Authorities are continuously issuing warnings, urging people to stay alert as the situation remains critical.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has also highlighted that a cyclonic storm forming over the Arabian Sea today could further exacerbate the situation in several regions. Additionally, heavy rainfall alerts have been issued for Odisha and Kerala.

Delhi Weather Today:

The capital city of Delhi, light rainfall is expected today, with maximum and minimum temperatures predicted to be around 34°C and 24°C, respectively. The National Capital Region (NCR) may also experience some heavy downpours in certain areas.

Clouds Over Madhya Pradesh:

Yesterday evening, several parts of Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Indore, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Sehore, and Vidisha, experienced heavy rainfall, bringing slight relief from the prevailing humidity. According to weather forecasts, light to moderate rain is expected across various districts of Madhya Pradesh today, August 30. Bhopal has been witnessing cloudy skies and light showers since this morning.

Heavy Rainfall Warnings for Other Regions:

The Meteorological Department has issued heavy to very heavy rainfall warnings for several regions across the country. Telangana and South Karnataka are expected to receive significant rainfall. Furthermore, isolated locations in Uttarakhand, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are also likely to experience heavy rain. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and stay informed about the latest weather updates.
