Today Weather Forecast: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya. Additionally, heavy rainfall is likely in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur weather, Mizoram, Tripura, Kerala, Mahe, and Interior Karnataka.

Furthermore, some places in Madhya Pradesh may experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and squally winds with speeds reaching 50-60 km/h. Similar conditions with lightning and gusty winds (40-50 km/h) are likely in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Bihar, and South Interior Karnataka.

Upcoming Days Weather Forecast:

According to the Meteorological Department, from June 3 to June 7, Punjab and Haryana are expected to experience light rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 km/h) at isolated places. Uttar Pradesh is likely to see similar conditions from June 3 to June 5, while Rajasthan is expected to experience these conditions on June 3.

Rainfall Observations Over the Last 24 Hours: Yesterday, various regions across the country witnessed rainfall, ranging from light to heavy. Chhattisgarh and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands experienced rainfall at a few places, while Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, South Interior Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha, East Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Bihar, and parts of eastern India saw rainfall at isolated places.

Kerala, heavy to very heavy rainfall was recorded at several locations, including Thrissur, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, and Kozhikode. Similarly, heavy rainfall was observed in Chennai, Thoothukudi, and Salem in Tamil Nadu, and Siddipet in Telangana.

Mild Relief from Maximum Temperatures: Due to the light rainfall in several regions, there has been a noticeable drop in maximum temperatures. In parts of East Madhya Pradesh, temperatures fell by 3-4°C. In Interior Odisha, Vidarbha, and parts of Punjab, temperatures dropped by 2-3°C. A decline of 1-2°C was observed in parts of Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, and East Rajasthan.
