Heavy Rainfall Alert for Maharashtra and South India:

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for extremely heavy rainfall in Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat region, and Konkan & Goa on August 3. Alerts have been issued for various regions across Maharashtra and South India due to the expected weather conditions.

Weather Update for Mumbai: Mumbai, heavy rainfall with thunderstorms is expected on August 3. The maximum temperature is anticipated to be around 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be about 25 degrees Celsius.

Alerts in Maharashtra: Maharashtra, a red alert has been issued for Pune and Satara, indicating severe weather conditions. An orange alert has been issued for Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg, forecasting very heavy rainfall. A yellow alert is in place for Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Nasik, and Kolhapur, indicating heavy rainfall. Yesterday, areas in Madhya Maharashtra, including Jalgaon, Mahabaleshwar, and Pune, experienced significant rainfall.

Weather Forecast for South Indian States: South India, very heavy rainfall is expected over Coastal Karnataka from August 2 to 4, and heavy rain is forecasted for Kerala and Mahe during the same period. Coastal Karnataka is also likely to see heavy rain from August 5 to 7. Additionally, North Interior Karnataka may experience heavy rain on August 2 and 3, while South Interior Karnataka is expected to receive heavy rainfall on August 3 and 4.
