Weather Forecast: Heavy Rainfall Alert Across Various Regions, IMD Issues Warnings
Isolated Extremely Heavy Rainfall

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued multiple alerts for heavy rainfall across various regions from July 26 to 29. The forecast includes isolated extremely heavy rainfall over the ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra on July 26 and 27, and in Konkan & Goa on July 26.

Isolated Extremely Heavy Rainfall:

Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra are expected to experience isolated extremely heavy rainfall on July 26 and 27, while Konkan & Goa are likely to face similar conditions on July 26.

Isolated Very Heavy Rainfall: Isolated very heavy rainfall is predicted in Madhya Pradesh on July 26, in Konkan & Goa on July 27 and 28, in Madhya Maharashtra on July 28 and 29, and in the Gujarat region on July 26 and 27. Additionally, Uttarakhand is expected to see very heavy rainfall on July 26 and 27. South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka are also on alert for very heavy rainfall on July 26 and 27, with Odisha expecting the same on July 26.

Isolated Heavy Rainfall: Several regions are forecasted to receive isolated heavy rainfall. These include Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Saurashtra & Kutch from July 26-29, Madhya Pradesh from July 27-29, the Gujarat region on July 28 and 29, and Konkan & Goa on July 29. Heavy rainfall is also expected in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand weather, East Rajasthan, and West Uttar Pradesh from July 26-29, in East Uttar Pradesh on July 26, and in Haryana-Chandigarh on July 26 and 27. Punjab will likely experience heavy rainfall on July 27, and West Rajasthan on July 26 and 29.

Additional Rainfall Alerts: Tamil Nadu is likely to experience isolated heavy rainfall on July 26. Kerala and Mahe are forecasted to receive heavy rainfall from July 26-29, while Coastal and South Interior Karnataka are expected to see heavy rainfall on July 28 and 29. Assam and Meghalaya will likely face heavy rainfall on July 26 and 27. Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand are on alert for July 26, while Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are expected to experience heavy rainfall on July 28 and 29. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Odisha are likely to see heavy rainfall from July 27-29.

Thunderstorm with Lightning: Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are very likely at isolated places over Jammu division, north Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar.

Recorded Heavy Rainfall: Yesterday, heavy to very heavy rainfall was recorded at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra, and heavy rainfall at isolated places over Konkan & Goa, East Rajasthan, and East Madhya Pradesh.
