The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for several areas in western Uttar Pradesh. Residents in districts such as Firozabad, Muradabad, Ghaziabad, and Meerut are grappling with sticky and humid weather. Despite the monsoon rains, temperatures and humidity levels have increased in many regions. According to the latest IMD forecast, the monsoon has become active again in northern India, bringing with it a warning of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and heavy rainfall in certain areas.
On July 24, Lucknow is expected to experience light rain along with occasional thunderstorms. The temperature is likely to range from a minimum of 28°C to a maximum of 36°C.
Heavy Rainfall Expected in Several Districts: On Wednesday, heavy rainfall is forecasted for regions including Hamirpur, Agra, Firozabad, Jalaun, Jhansi, Mahoba, and Lalitpur. Additionally, places such as Saharanpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Aligarh, Noida, Hathras, Etawah, Auraiya, and Chitrakoot are also likely to receive rain.

Sporadic rainfall may occur in Unnao, Kanpur, Fatehpur, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Allahabad, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Chandauli. Residents are advised to be prepared for potential disruptions due to the expected rainfall.
Weather in UP Over the Last 24 Hours: The past 24 hours, monsoon rainfall in western Uttar Pradesh has been normal. Rainfall was recorded in Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, Meerut, Bijnor, Agra, and surrounding areas. However, the state capital Lucknow, along with Kanpur and Ayodhya, saw only light cloud cover with no significant rainfall.
