Monsoon activity is rapidly advancing across all parts of the country. On Friday, July 19, a heavy rainfall alert has been issued for over 23 districts and nearby villages in Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in several districts. According to officials from the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is expected to continue across Madhya Pradesh for the next four days. The primary districts expected to receive significant rainfall today include Gwalior, Satna, Jabalpur, Sagar, Raisen, Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad), Khargone, Chhindwara, Betul, Burhanpur, Harda, Khandwa, Shivpuri, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Mandla, Balaghat, Chhatarpur, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Umaria, and Rajgarh. Alerts for thunderstorms have also been issued for these areas.
Today, light rain with thunderstorms is expected in Bhopal, Indore weather, Ujjain, and Vidisha. Yesterday, both Bhopal and Indore experienced heavy rain. Due to the heavy rainfall, several trains passing through different districts of Madhya Pradesh were cancelled, and many had their routes changed.
