The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in the following districts: Indore, Bhopal, Damoh, Rewa, Ujjain weather, Jabalpur, Katni, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Satna, Mandla, Dindori, Seoni, Balaghat, Sehore, Vidisha, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Umaria, Gwalior, Chhatarpur, Sheopur, Morena, and Raisen. Additionally, moderate-to-light rain is expected in other parts of the state.
Due to the torrential rain, many areas are experiencing waterlogging. The risk of flooding in low-lying areas has increased, and transportation is being affected.
