Alert for heavy rain in Bihar

The weather department has issued a heavy rainfall alert for various districts in Bihar, including the capital, Patna. Predictions suggest the possibility of rain in different locations each day. According to the meteorological forecast, a yellow alert has been issued for Kishanganj district due to the expectation of very heavy rainfall.

The monsoon effect is visible across most districts of Bihar. Scattered rainfall is predicted in different parts of the state, including Patna weather. Meanwhile, a yellow alert for very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning has been issued for Kishanganj district. The highest rainfall was recorded in Halsi, Lakhisarai, at 125.2 mm. On Sunday, there was intense sunshine in the afternoon, but by evening, dark clouds brought heavy rainfall, providing relief from the humidity.

Temperature Update:

Bihar's capital, Patna, today's minimum temperature is expected to hover around 31°C, while the maximum temperature might reach 37°C. The mercury level is likely to remain around 31°C throughout the day, with a wind speed of approximately 5.88 kilometers per hour. The wind direction will be 90 degrees, and gusts may reach speeds of 9.98 kilometers per hour. According to the seven-day weather forecast, Patna's temperature is likely to reach 37°C on Monday, 36°C on Tuesday, 35°C on Wednesday, 37°C on Thursday, 39°C on Friday, 33°C on Saturday, and 36°C on Sunday.

Rainfall Status in Major Cities:

According to meteorological data, the state recorded 9% less rainfall than normal from June 1 to July 14. Significant rainfall figures include 114.0 mm in Beldaur, Khagaria, 89.8 mm in Akbarpur, Nawada, 72.2 mm in Sarmera, Nalanda, 75.2 mm in Bhawanipur, Purnia, 60.4 mm in Adhaura, Bhabua, and 67.8 mm in Kaler, Raval. Additionally, Murli Ganj in Madhepura recorded 58.4 mm, Barbigha in Sheikhpura recorded 57.2 mm, Jamui recorded 50.4 mm, and Madanpur in Aurangabad recorded 40.2 mm of rainfall.
