Heavy rainfall continues to sweep across India, creating flood-like conditions in several states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for Tuesday, August 13th, warning of heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala.
Addition to these states, light to moderate rainfall is expected in Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Eastern Gujarat, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Saurashtra, Kutch, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, and Southern Telangana are also likely to experience light rain.
The national capital, Delhi, is likely to see light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms today. Heavier showers are expected in areas such as Safdarjung, Pragati Maidan, and parts of Narela. The maximum temperature is forecasted to reach around 32°C, while the minimum will hover near 25°C. The rain is expected to continue throughout the week.

Ghaziabad, cloudy skies will dominate, with chances of rain or thunderstorms in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 30°C and 25°C, respectively.
Chandigarh Weather Update: Chandigarh is forecasted to have partly cloudy skies with the possibility of rain or thunderstorms at one or two intervals. The maximum temperature is likely to reach 34°C, while the minimum will be around 26°C. The ongoing rains have caused significant disruptions and inconvenience to residents across these regions. Unfortunately, there appears to be no immediate relief in sight, as the rain is expected to persist.
