The scorching heatwave gripping Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh persists, with blazing hot winds, commonly referred to as 'loo' or heatwave, sweeping through various regions of both states. The month of May has seen temperatures soar to unprecedented levels, with several cities in Rajasthan recording temperatures exceeding 45 degrees Celsius, while Madhya Pradesh also experiences soaring temperatures.

Alert of Severe Heatwave in These Cities of Rajasthan Today:

According to the Meteorological Department, Rajasthan is expected to witness intense heat and the possibility of a heatwave in some parts on May 8th. Cities including Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Barmer, Jalore, Bharatpur, Hanumangarh, among others, are likely to experience scorching temperatures. Moreover, temperatures are forecasted to hover around 45 degrees Celsius in these cities.

The capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur, the weather is expected to remain clear, albeit with blistering heat. Maximum temperatures are anticipated to reach around 43 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperatures around 27 degrees Celsius.

Madhya Pradesh Weather Today:

Meanwhile, in Madhya Pradesh weather, several cities, including Gwalior, Guna, Satna, Rewa, Khandwa, Khajuraho, and Shivpuri, are under heatwave alerts for May 8th. It is estimated that temperatures could range between 42 to 45 degrees Celsius in these areas.

The state capital, Bhopal, the weather is forecasted to remain clear, with maximum temperatures around 42 degrees Celsius and minimum temperatures around 27 degrees Celsius.

Residents in these regions are advised to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses, stay hydrated, and minimize outdoor activities during peak daytime hours. Authorities are also urging vulnerable populations, such as the elderly and children, to stay indoors and keep cool during this intense heatwave.
