The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert for ten districts in Uttar Pradesh, predicting temperatures to soar up to 45 degrees Celsius. These districts include Kanpur, Varanasi weather, Jhansi, Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, Bareilly, Lucknow, Saharanpur, and Ghaziabad.

Today Weather Forecast for Major Districts on May 21:

Lucknow weather: The capital city will experience clear skies and hot winds today. According to the IMD, the maximum temperature is expected to exceed 43 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature might be around 29 degrees Celsius.

Kanpur weather: Clear skies and heatwave conditions are anticipated. The IMD forecasts a maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 30 degrees Celsius.

Varanasi weather: The city will see a maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 28 degrees Celsius, with clear skies and extreme heatwave conditions.

Prayagraj weather: Severe heat and heatwave conditions are expected today. The maximum temperature could reach 45 degrees Celsius, while the minimum might be around 30 degrees Celsius.

Ghaziabad weather: A heatwave is likely to affect Ghaziabad, with temperatures expected to hit a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 29 degrees Celsius.

Light Drizzle Expected in Some Districts: On May 21, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Ballia, Azamgarh, and surrounding areas may experience intermittent light drizzle along with hot winds.
