The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) provides a collective daily income of 200 crore rupees to 36 lakh dairy farmers. This contributes significantly to the prosperity of the state's residents. The dairy sector in the state has reached a value of one lakh crore rupees.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel stated that the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, scheduled to take place in Gandhinagar between January 10 and 12, will serve as a platform for showcasing the rapid growth in agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry in the state.

According to a government statement, the state's agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry sectors are experiencing improved growth through the integration of natural farming and advanced technologies. Gujarat is making optimal use of its resources, contributing to the state's economy and enhancing the global reputation of the dairy sector. In a recent program, Chief Minister Patel emphasized, "The upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024 will showcase the state's rapid growth in agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry through the integration of natural farming techniques and modern technology. This not only enhances the optimal utilization of resources in the economy but also improves the global standing of the dairy sector in the state. As per the government statement, the dairy industry in Gujarat has surpassed one lakh crore rupees. Through GCMMF, 36 lakh dairy farmers receive a daily payment of 200 crore rupees.

The statement further highlighted, "The globally recognized Amul brand, under which GCMMF markets dairy and dairy products, is a testament to the hard work of millions of dairy farmers. R.S. Sodhi, the former Managing Director of GCMMF and the President of the Indian Dairy Association, mentioned that Amul's organized dairy procurement from Gujarat has increased from 30 lakh liters in 27 years to 270 lakh liters, showcasing progress in the rural economy of the state over the past few years. Shobhraj Rabari, a dairy farmer from the prosperous village of Napad Vanto in Anand district, mentioned that his family initiated the dairy business with two cows, and now they have 35 cows.

He stated, "The Vibrant Gujarat Summit initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been very beneficial for us. I supply 2,000 liters of milk every month. My income is 1.10 lakh rupees. We are getting good prices for milk, and the government is providing us with excellent support.

Similarly, Jayesh Patel, a dairy farmer from the village of Zarola in the Borsad taluka of Anand, emphasized the importance of the summit, saying, "This summit is crucial for me. Many people like me participate in this summit and reap various benefits. I have consistently benefited from the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
