Highest Arrival of Garlic in Indore Mandi:

In the bustling markets of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, the highest arrival of garlic was witnessed on March 29, encompassing both local and desi varieties. Approximately 460 tons of garlic were recorded in the Indore market, where prices ranged from a minimum of Rs. 500 per quintal to a maximum of Rs. 15,700 per quintal. The average price hovers around Rs. 4,000 per quintal. The substantial influx of garlic in the market has led to notable fluctuations in prices.

Garlic Market Rates in Bhopal: the capital city of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, garlic prices fluctuated between a minimum of Rs. 1,750 per quintal and a maximum of Rs. 13,000 per quintal on March 29. The average price remains around Rs. 4,000 per quintal, with approximately 48 tons of garlic arriving in the market.

Garlic Market Rates in Major Production Cities: 

  1. Neemuch Mandi, the price of garlic soared between a minimum of Rs. 1,000 per quintal and a staggering maximum of Rs. 23,000 per quintal, with an average price of around Rs. 12,000 per quintal. The market witnessed an influx of approximately 293 tons of garlic.
  2. Similarly, in Mandsaur Mandi, prices continued to escalate, ranging from a minimum of Rs. 4,750 per quintal to a maximum of Rs. 9,050 per quintal. The average price hovers around Rs. 9,050 per quintal, with approximately 42 tons of garlic recorded in the market.
  3. In Ratlam Mandi, garlic prices ranged from a minimum of Rs. 3,300 per quintal to a maximum of Rs. 9,610 per quintal, with an average price of approximately Rs. 6,500 per quintal. Around 30 tons of garlic were registered in the market.
