The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of heavy rain in the coming days.

Increase in Water Levels:

Due to continuous rain, the water levels in major reservoirs and dams have increased. While this situation is beneficial for water supply, it also raises the risk of flooding. The administration has opened dam gates to facilitate water release and control water levels.

The Meteorological Department has announced a red alert for 12 districts due to anticipated heavy rainfall. The affected districts are Datia, Guna, Agar Malwa, Ashoknagar, Bhind, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Dewas, Gwalior, Mandsaur, Morena, and Neemuch. Residents in these areas are urged to stay alert and take necessary precautions.

Additionally, the gates of Tawa Dam in Narmadapuram and Bargi Dam have also been opened. Due to heavy rain, many roads in several districts are waterlogged, causing disruptions in traffic.

Red Alert for Heavy Rainfall: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of extremely heavy rainfall in the districts of Sehore, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Dindori, Anuppur, Sheopur, and Shivpuri.
