Farm Pond Scheme Relief for Farm Irrigation Have you ever thought that the difficulties of Indian farmers could be reduced? The "Farm Pond Scheme" being implemented by the Rajasthan government to collect rainwater for irrigation purposes is a prime example of this. This scheme provides farmers with up to 90% subsidy for the construction of ponds, so that there is no scarcity of water in the fields and farmers can irrigate on time.

Farm Pond Scheme Details of Funding:

Here we will provide detailed information about the funding of the Farm Pond Scheme.

1. Funding for Raw Farm Ponds: The Agriculture Department will provide a subsidy of 70% of the cost of raw farm ponds, with a maximum amount of ₹73,500.
2. Funding for Plastic Lining Farm Ponds: The Agriculture Department will provide a subsidy of 90% of the cost of plastic lining farm ponds, with a maximum amount of ₹1,35,000.
3. Funding for Other Category Farmers: The Agriculture Department will also provide funding under the Farm Pond Scheme to farmers in other categories. These farmers will receive a subsidy of 60% of the cost, or a maximum of ₹63,000 for raw farm ponds, and a subsidy of 80% of the cost, or ₹1,20,000 for plastic lining farm ponds.

Farm Pond Scheme Funding Conditions:

Minimum Capacity Requirement: Funding under the scheme will only be provided to those farms whose capacity is at least 400 cubic meters. Farms with a capacity less than this will not be eligible for funding under the Farm Pond Scheme.

Acceptance of Agricultural Land:

1. Acceptance of Land in the Farm Pond Scheme: According to the Agriculture Department, the farmer should have at least 0.3 hectares of arable land in their name.
2. Rules for Joint Account Holders: In the case of joint account holders, a minimum of 0.5 hectares of land is required.

Farm Pond Scheme Direct Benefit: The subsidy amount will be deposited directly into the farmer's account, so farmers do not need to worry about anything.

2. Voter ID Card
3. Copy of land records (not older than six months)
4. Bank Account Number
5. Mobile Number
