The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rainfall alert for Delhi and several areas in the National Capital Region (NCR). Persistent rain has already led to waterlogging on the streets, causing traffic disruptions. Today, August 2, moderate rain is expected across Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad. There is a forecast for moderate to heavy rain in various parts of Delhi and its neighboring areas through today. Rainfall intensity is expected to decrease after August 3. Throughout this week, Delhi's maximum temperature is anticipated to range between 32°C and 35°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 26°C to 27°C.

Extremely Heavy Rainfall: Extremely heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in East Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra. Residents should be prepared for severe weather and potential disruptions.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam & Meghalaya, Konkan & Goa, Gujarat Region, and Coastal & South Interior Karnataka. These areas should be alert to the impacts on daily life and travel.
