Lucknow, the weather is expected to remain clear today, with a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius. Cities like Ghaziabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Bareilly, among others, will also witness clear skies today, although a drop in temperature is anticipated during the night.
Yesterday, western states of India observed a rise in temperature, including Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. It is expected that these states will soon experience hotter days. According to the Meteorological Department, from 7th to 14th March, a temperature increase of 3 to 5 degrees Celsius is predicted in Northwestern states. Additionally, Central India will witness a temperature rise of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the coming days. Goa, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh are also experiencing a rise in temperature, with predictions suggesting that the mercury may cross the 40-degree mark in March itself. Considering the mood swings of the weather, it wouldn't be wrong to say that the onset of hot days is not far away.
