As per the weather update, cities including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Ujjain, and Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh are likely to experience rainfall and cloudy skies. Yesterday, districts like Sagar, Chhindwara, Seoni, and Mandla in eastern Madhya Pradesh witnessed rainfall along with hailstorms.
Furthermore, yesterday, rain made its presence felt in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, and Sikkim. It is anticipated that today, Chhattisgarh and Odisha might experience worse weather conditions compared to yesterday. Additionally, several districts in central Maharashtra are expected to witness heavy rain today, especially Nagpur, Akola, Amravati, and surrounding areas.
Due to the rainfall, there has been a decrease in temperatures, providing slight relief during the daytime. Instances of sudden halts in rising temperatures have been observed in various regions of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Odisha. Owing to the rain and overcast skies, temperatures have dropped by an average of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius in many areas since last night. Moreover, in places where temperatures were exceeding 40 degrees Celsius during the day, there has been a decline of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius, providing relief from the daytime heat.
