Average prices of major varieties of Rice in prominent markets on 12th October

According to the Wholesale Price Index on October 12th, the prices of various types of rice were as follows:
Common rice was priced at a maximum of 2183 rupees per quintal in most markets, with a minimum of 2183 rupees per quintal, and an average price of 2183 rupees per quintal.

IR-64 rice was priced at a maximum of 2203 rupees per quintal in most markets, with a minimum of 2183 rupees per quintal, and an average price of 2203 rupees per quintal.

Ponni rice was priced at a maximum of 2846 rupees per quintal in most markets, with a minimum of 2200 rupees per quintal, and an average price of 2816 rupees per quintal.

Swarna Masoori (New) rice was priced at a maximum of 2200 rupees per quintal in most markets, with a minimum of 2150 rupees per quintal, and an average price of 2183 rupees per quintal.

MTU 1010 rice was priced at a maximum of 2203 rupees per quintal in most markets, with a minimum of 2050 rupees per quintal, and an average price of 2203 rupees per quintal.
