Average prices of major varieties of Banana in prominent markets on 29th August

As of today, August 29, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Medium  bananas in major markets ranged from a maximum of 3500 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 1000 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 3200 rupees per quintal. The price of Amruthapani bananas in medium markets reached a maximum of 2620 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 2430 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 2540 rupees per quintal. The price of Banana Ripe in medium markets was at a maximum of 4800 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 1500 rupees per quintal, with a modal average price of 4650 rupees per quintal. The price of Red Banana in medium markets was at a maximum of 5000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 4800 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 4900 rupees per quintal.
