Average prices of major varieties of Banana in prominent markets on 22th September

As of today, September 22, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Medium bananas in major markets ranged from a maximum of 2500 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 2100 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 2300 rupees per quintal. 

The price of Robusta bananas in medium markets reached a maximum of 3700 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 1400 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 3500 rupees per quintal. The price of Banana Ripe in medium markets was at a maximum of 5600 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 2000 rupees per quintal, with a modal average price of 5200 rupees per quintal. The price of Amruthapani Banana in medium markets was at a maximum of 2600 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 2600 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 2600 rupees per quintal.
