As of today, September 15, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Medium bananas in major markets ranged from a maximum of 2100 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 1700 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 1900 rupees per quintal. The price of Amruthapani bananas in medium markets reached a maximum of 4500 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 3500 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 4000 rupees per quintal. The price of Banana Ripe in medium markets was at a maximum of 4200 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 1200 rupees per quintal, with a modal average price of 4000 rupees per quintal. The price of Nendra Bale Banana in medium markets was at a maximum of 6500 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 5000 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 6000 rupees per quintal.
