Average prices of major varieties of Banana in prominent markets on 06th September

As of today, September 06, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Dessi (Bontha) bananas in major markets ranged from a maximum of 1300 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 1100 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 1200 rupees per quintal. The price of Red bananas in medium markets reached a maximum of 6500 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 3000 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 6400 rupees per quintal. The price of Banana Ripe in medium markets was at a maximum of 9900 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 2000 rupees per quintal, with a modal average price of 9700 rupees per quintal. The price of Medium Banana in medium markets was at a maximum of 3500 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 1700 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 3200 rupees per quintal.
