Average prices of major varieties of Apple in prominent markets on 29th August

As of today, August 29, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of Kashmir Shimla-II apples ranged from a maximum of 8200 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 3900 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 8100 rupees per quintal. The price of Kullu Royal Delicious apples in the medium category was at a maximum of 10000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 4000 rupees per quintal, while the average price for Kullu Royal Delicious apples stood at 7000 rupees per quintal. For local apples, the price in the medium category reached a maximum of 15000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 4000 rupees per quintal. The average price for local apples was 12000 rupees per quintal.
