Average prices of major varieties of Apple in prominent markets on 16th October

As of today, October 16, according to the Wholesale Price Index, the price of high quality Apple ranged from a maximum of 15000 rupees per quintal to a minimum of 2400 rupees per quintal, with an average price of 13500 rupees per quintal.

The price of Kashmir/Shimla-II apples in the medium category was at a maximum of 7550 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 4000 rupees per quintal, while the average price for Kashmir/Shimla-II apples stood at 7480 rupees per quintal.

For Delicious apples, the price in the medium category reached a maximum of 9000 rupees per quintal and a minimum of 3400 rupees per quintal. The average price for Delicious apples was 8500 rupees per quintal.
