Similar conditions may also prevail in the southwest, southeast, and adjoining west-central Bay of Bengal, as well as in the northern Bay of Bengal off the Gangetic West Bengal and north Odisha coasts. Moreover, wind speeds of 45 to 55 kmph, with gusts up to 65 kmph, are likely in the western parts of the west-central and east-central Arabian Sea, the western parts of the southwest Arabian Sea, and along the coasts of Somalia and Oman.
